Brookville 6th Grade Envirothon

The Jefferson Conservation District sponsors the Hickory Grove 6th Grade Envirothon annually.  This was the 16th year for the event.  After seeing presentations on water pollution, forestry, agriculture, recycling and firearm safety, students are tested on what they have learned.  The top three teams receive a certificate for their achievements.  This year's winning classes were:
 
 
A representative from Mr. MacBeth's class received the 1st place certificate from Jim Berry and Missy Buck of the Conservation District.
Representatives from Mrs. Watson's class received the 2nd place certificate from Jim Berry and Missy Buck of the Conservation District.
Representatives from Mrs. McQuown's class received the 3rd place certificate from Jim Berry and Missy Buck of the Conservation District.
